We have an 11 year old Cocker that all of a sudden has decided she just isn't hungry. We keep her trimmed during the summer (black hair) so she will not to over-heated, but all of a sudden (1 week) she has barely eaten a thing. She is active for her age, but not hungry. ANY SUGGESTIONS BEFORE WE TAKE HER TO THE VET??

If it were me, I'd just head straight to the vet. Even with a lot of heat, I don't think giving up food for a week is normal.

Hope there's nothing serious about him, did you take him to the vet immediately?
