Hello Everyone,

Thought I would introduce myself and my girls. My name is Heather and we share our home with 2 Danes, Emmee (merle) and Shelly (fawn). We got Emmee when she was 10 months old, she has turned into the very best natured dog I think I have ever had. Shelly is our rescue, she was 3 when we got her, she has had some adjusting to do, but is doing great! Shelly was 88lbs when we got her and now is upto 160lbs .

Hi, it's great that you were able to rescue another Great Dane like that-- it is so hard for people to keep them and rehome them, just because of their size. If we had a bigger house and lot (we only have 1/8 acre), we would probably have a giant breed dog as well. As it is, our ESS FILLS UP our house!

Wow, you got really big guys, how is it with them?! I love danes too, they are so royal looking.
