Question New Corgi

I've recently adopted an 8 month old Corgi from the local shelter and have been trying to learn everything I can to fulfill the needs of this breed. I've read the Corgi breeder websites, but I don't want to show her - just love her and give her a good home. She's very friendly, but seems to pull back when you try to pet her head. Some people say she should only have two baths a year? She rolls in stinky stuff so that is not practical. Her nails grow so fast. I just purchased a Furminator to help with her shedding (she has a double coat). Any practical advice you can offer on this breed would be so appreciated. We want to start off right in our new life together. Thanks! Germie

Bathing just twice a year? Better seek more tips about corgis. They are energetic and loves to jump, they are so lovely to pet too! And of course they love treats, prepare some when you pet her so she could feel more comfortable.
