Hi everyone!

We are new here and just wanted to say hi.

My Titus is half pitt, half american bulldog, so he is pretty big. Although, he still thinks he can fit into my lap! LOL! He is the first dog I have ever made a bond with, as before him I was strictly a cat lover. My boyfriend thought it would be good for us to get a dog so we got him...the best choice ever! We don't have children so Titus is pretty much the attention hog. I don't understand how anyone can hate his breed...they are so sweet and just have so much love to give. You can tell in his eyes that all he wants to do is play and love! Titus just turned two in July, so he's a full grown dog now. But he still loves to tear any and everything to pieces in addition to digging 4 foot holes in my backyard! He absolutely LOVES to play in the mud; thats when he gets much of his digging done. My household also has two indoor cats, Nonimee and Bangle. All three animals get along great! They even lay together occassionally.

Anyways, we just wanted to introduce ourselves a lil bit. Glad I found this place because I think my friends get tired of my Titus talk!

You can't take away for other people to think about pitts but if you look around, you see a lot of testimonials and great stories about heroic pitts. It really depends on people who care for dogs and not the breed itself.

Oh yes, I know. Any dog can be mean if they are trained to be. I just hate how there is a stigma to this sweet dog just because some people haven't raised their dog right. Just like a child. You raise a child to be a heathen, they will be. You raise a child to be respectful and courteuos, they will be.
