Just a quick introduction. I'm the mom of a wonderful(?) greyhound mix who I just got from the local pound last tues. He's currently recovering from kennel cough (such a lovely time...NOT) and is finally starting to act like the brat he is. Yes I call him a brat but in a loving way, I wouldnt trade him for anything. Heres a pic of my boy.

Thanks. That cute "baby" had his first bath today. I'm hoping that with time he'll learn that its ok to step into the tub. Putting a 50 lb + dog in the tub when they dont want to get in can be hard on the back. Thankfully he just stood there once he was in, untill I told him he could get out.

Soon? I was from the first that I saw him, and even through all the messes and everything else we've been through so far (him being sick was a trial for both of us right off the bat) i've not once considered anything other than getting him well, then getting the carpet in the living room profesionally cleaned. yes its been a trial from the start but i wouldnt trade him for anything!!! He was underweight when I got him, and after not eating for 4 days lost even more.
Now that hes better and eating again and thankfully over the runs as well! Hes starting to put on some weight. Hes having a hard time understanding why we cant go for walks again yet, but I dont want to start walking off the weight hes finally started gaining.
Once hes up to weight I'll post a few more pics of him.
