Hi, my name is Sampson and I have become the new addition to a couple in the Mojave Desert. I was left to roam by my old and neglecting owners and when found I had rocks in my gutt... yeah, I was hungry!

They adopted me after their home had been empty of their two dogs for about 6 months due to old age. I felt bad for them, but knew I could put a smile on their face. I heard the one I call Mommy mention something about finding me online and came straight to the shelter to find me and took me that day.

I am 125-130 Fawn Bull Mastiff. I THINK I am about 2 to 3 years old. But I developed some bad habits in those few years and hope that my new owners can help me break them... that's why they are here!

LOL... when your title was posted "Gentle Giant", I thought you were talking about a Great Dane ... they are usually called the gentle giants

Congrats on your new addition. For me adoption is the way to go. I had an adopted Beagle before and now I have a 5 year old Boxer and they were both absolutely great!

Well Sampson, it sure sounds like you found yourself a couple of great parents to take care of you! Dont forget to take care of them too - they need your doggy kisses and hugs whenever possible!
