 New Owner, but not new to dogs.
I think most of us start out as animal lovers, or atleast dog lovers, and I am no different. I started work as a kennel girl and grew to love all animals, but especially dogs. That was in middle school. Now attending college, the opportunity arose for me to get my very first, and much awaited for dog! I live in an apartment, so even though I am a big dog person, I knew I'd have to go with medium size. And then destiny struck! While looking through petfinder at a local pound, everyone of the medium sized dogs was a pitbull. I was fully prepared to adopt a pitbull (there were so many cute ones), when this adorable shepherd photo popped up and caught my eye. I was highly interested and went to his foster home to meet him and our personalities were one in the same. I was looking to care for something and he was looking for be cared for! We are a true pack togather! His name is Hunter, and he is a shepherd/cattledog mix with huge, adorable ears and brown, loveable eyes! From the first day on he was stuck to me like glue and I woulnd't have it any other way. I finally have my dog I've always wanted and hes the best dog I could ever have!!!
