Hello from Texas
Hi - Just toolin' around the net and found this site. We have four dogs - a male and female pit (Domino and Cadence), female boxer (Coco) and a female Xolo (Ella). All but Domino are rescued dogs. Ella pretty much rules the roost. She weighs in at a hefty 21 pounds, has absolutely no hair, 11 teeth - and an attitude when she needs it. Domino and Coco are convinced she is their mother....We love 'em all despite the occasional havoc four dogs can reap. All are very well socialized for the most part, although Domino can be slightly aggressive towards small, barking furry creatures. He ignores almost everything else. Basically a big lap dog. Coco is the "watch dog" of the bunch - she's always on the alert. And when she's not - she's just - well - putty. Likes to be held like a baby, which is a little awkward as she weighs 64 lbs. Cadence is the newest addition. She's just a big ol' happy-go-lucky red nose pit. One of their favorite things to do is go to Petsmart. So much to drool over! Our youngest son (21) works for the county humane society. We try not to visit him at work....four is quite enough. Occasionaly he has taken Domino to the shelter to demonstrate that pit bulls are not necessarily what they are reputed to be. He is extremely well trained and friendly. (Yeah - still a pit and pit owners need to be aware of the breed.) Anyhow, I'll stop in once in a while, hopefully be able to contribute a little.
