Hi Everyone
New to this forum and trying to work it all out..... I have 2 dogs Davis-Watson, a 2 year old 1/2 Beagle 1/2 Cocker Spaniel (just my boy) and Ever-so-Faithful 1/2 Corgi 1/2 Foxy whom is just a little over 1. I found her in a shelter very skinny and scared at around 8 months old. The sight of her big bat ears came into view and with her gentleness how could I resist. She is slighty cross-eyed and her right back leg is on a 22 degree slant every time she walks. But she walks with punch and is a share joy to have as she is the cuddler of the two.

Hey there
I am new here too and can not figure out how to post pictures of my babies; I have an eight-year-old male Golden Retriever and a year-old female Golden Retriever. No negative posts but my female is having puppies any day and they already have good homes and I have read up on problems that can occur and talked with my vet on how to help her with if certain birthing problems may arise. She has her nest ready and is doing great, they really are our babies, we were waiting until she was two to breed because a lot of people, nurses in particular asked my landlord when we were having puppies. Any way, we told everyone that came into the house to watch because we knew when she went into heat (she went late at 10 months, I know you should not breed at their first heat). If I would take my male out I would leash him or put my female in the house and I swapped everytime they needed to go outside, it was a nice day (her 11th day) and my sons ran out the door and I ran after the male to catch him and the were both gone, they came home two hours later, I looked for them for two straight hours.

Hi Amcol,
Welcome, and congratulations on your new puppies; I hope everything goes alright. Thanks for explaining what happened-- I know it's a shame you should even have to, but I don't think in this case anyone will blame you. Accidents happen. It's great that you are stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility to make sure the puppies get the best possible start in life. : )
