Just Joined
My husband told me to find a doggie forum...something other than ebay...basically he told me to stop spending money. Hey...I'm guilty. So I searched, and this forum seems just my place to be.
I have 2 cats & 2 dogs (hence my name). My cats are 6 yrs. & 1 yr old. My dogs are Kira, 5 yrs, she is german shepherd and rott mix. Basically shepherd with floppy ears. I also have Buckles (anyone read the funnies?), she will be 1 next month. She is a pit mix. I was told when I adopted her from the local pound that was a hound mix. I adopted both of my doggies from Petfinder.com....she was small and adorable. I knew she would get bigger. (I am a big dog person) More she grew, I questioned, where's the hound? besides her bark, I see no hound. She looks more and more pit bull. She is so sweet. Pits got a bad rep...but they are so lovable. You just gotta treat a pet like your child. In my case, she is my child. (I am unable to have children, so my pets are my children) I wouldn't have it any other way.
