Default New Rescue Puppy New Diet

Hello All -

I just got a beautiful Jack Russel Mystery Mix 6 month old puppy. Her name is Trivium. It turns out that she has some parasites and for the next few weeks the vet recommends home cooked meals for her. I am wondering how much I should feed her. I have been feeding her 1/2 cup twice a day of dry food so I have been feeding her 1/2 cup brown rice and chicken, I am not sure if I am feeding her enough. My vet is closed and I have no one to call so if anyone can help please do.

Thanks

Stay away with cooked chicken bones, they are too sharp for dog's tummy. Look for BARF raw dog diet, hope you could find enough information on preparing and giving good amount.

Agree with wishbone...get rid of chicken bones they are not good to puppy's stomach...Try searching to Google about right diet for your dog...There are articles that will teach you what to do in regards to dog diet...
