Default I'm a Newbie

I'm a newbie from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I currently have a German Shepherd Dog that is going back to her owner due to not having enough room her in my small place, it's upsetting but I have to do what's best for her. I'm now on the lookout for a little dog. Little dogs are few and far between in my area. However I'm staying hopeful. I doubt there is anyone on the board from my neck of the woods that can help me, however I wanted to stop and say hello.

Check your local shelter. Sometimes an older dog is a good option as well since they don't need as much exercise and they don't run around like a bull in a China closet

Default Hello

Hello, Nice to meet you. I have a small dog. We live in an apartment and it is whats best for the dog. We did have a large shepard/husky mix and we had to give her back to the place that we got her from, they failed to mention to use that she was beat and afraid of men. I hope she is having a wonderful life now. They told us the last people got her for there 5 year old and he couldn't take care of her and she was left out side. I also think the left her outside and she barked and so they beat her. Poor baby girl. Best of luck to you in your search. You will find the right dog for you!

When looking for another one, try to rescue on shelters or rescue house, always ask questions about the dog and your current situation so they could give you advice on what kind of dog that will close to fit you. Hope you end up with the one that could be the best for you, good luck.
