Hi All
My name is roger and i have a female newfoundland keisha that is 7 months old now, keisha is a very happy dog with a very big family of kids.
people we cross seem to al love my dog and are surprised to see a newfoundland in ct. very freindly and motavated, one of the best dogs i have ever met, i am hopping to breed her when she is ready to do so for just 1 litter before having her fixed. with the purpose of not selling but supplying these great dogs to my freinds and family that i know would treat them good. i hope someone in ct that has a male newfoundland reads this and would be interested in studing there dog for trade of pick of the litter .
well anyways i hope to meet others in here as time goes on and mybe trade some dog stories.

Hi! I have never heard of that kind of doggie before. Where can I check out a picture? Do they get big?
Here is a dog story or two for you...
Cooper is a small 31lb dog the other day at the dog park there was two large playing and my small dog didn't want to be picked on so he was the ref getting in there with them barking at them and almost acting as if he was teasing them but the second one would come after him he would be done and run away untill they started again and he was right back.
another story...we were are the same park and a husky came up to me looked up at me like hi pet me, veyr mellow dog. I pet him he went away about 10 min later he came up from behind and went to town on my leg. Everyone burst out laughing including me, so from then on I kept and eye on him because of course he came back again and agian. lol

erin, click on hoggyz and veiw my elbum, if you google newfoundlands you will find anyone who owns one love them to death, freindly, playfull when young, very good with kids, great swimmers and very strong, they get to be 120 to 150 pounds, some use them as a work dog cuz with there size and strenth can pull 1500 pounds on a cart, long ago fishermen used them in case of a capsize they would hold on to the dog and would swim them back to safty, they say they have a sense for someone drowning and they would rescue them, i have not found that out for my self yet and hope to never.
anyways i got a good storie to, one day on the farmington river when i was walking her there was a trout fisher, the fisher had one on his line reeling it in, my dog ran and jumped in the water and grabbed the fish, when he came in the fisher yeld at her, my dog went and dropped the fish right in front of him and walked back to me and my family, at first the guy got pretty mad but after the dog brought his fish back the way he did he must have thought about it, he came up to me and told me that was the best dog he has ever met, tome that was pretty cool and added to how much i really love my dog,
well anyways check out my elbum and tonight sometime i will up some more picks of her,

Wow! Those dogs are huge, I could ride them. I would get one just for when I had kids, he could pull them on a sled, hehehe. That is an amazing story I have always wanted a dog that could do something extra special. Thats one good story and pretty amazing if you ask me. Lucky he didn't get a hook in her mouth! Well yeah keep in touch. Verry pretty dog.
