Sophie's been being treated at a local vet since Monday for Parvo. As of today they have started her on a second antibiotic to help fight off the virus. I made the decision to take her to an overnight emergency veterinarian clinic to keep her hydrated and watched tonight. I have hope that this will help her and also have been told by the vet that they have had some success with using Theraflu for dogs to treat this virus, somehow it either helps with the nausea or something to that affect so they can keep food down. She still has some activity level but it has decreased significantly since first diagnosed. Am hoping someone can offer some advice on how to get through these trying times and hopefully some prayers and hope from other dog lovers. I've never had a dog come down with parvo and am pretty lost in all this. Thank you.

Sorry to hear what you are going thru. I know how you feel. The best thing to do is not to worry too much and take good care of her. Take it step by step.
