age: Corky will be 11 on June 13 and Max will be 10 on April 1st
weight: not sure-been a while since weighed--Corky maybe 38# Max-35?
eye color: Corky-yellow Max-brown

behavior problems: spoiled Corky wants what he wants right now! and Max can be tempermental
medical problems: Corky may have a heart valve problem and his liver count tends to be high--Vet says a lot of dogs have this high count but I still don't like it---may not have anything to do with why but just today started him on a milk thistle supplement will give right up to when he gets that d_ _n Rabies shot so will be on it about 6 wks or so. In my Earl Mindell's Nutrition and Health for Dogs -(quote)--Milk thistle and alpha lipoic acid are both nutrients that can help restore the health of the liver. For maintenance of a healthy liver, I recommend milk thistle (silymarin) for a month each year for all dogs over 6 years old.(end of quote) There is so much good 'stuff' in this book I wish every dog owner had it---see it is real cheap (for used) on Amazon.com. Max was neutered because of prostrate problems and he had Pancreatitis when he was younger but no problems with this anymore.

cutest thing ever done:Corky use to like to get into the wastebasket and grab things to make me pay attention and he knew I would chase him--usually outside with it--I have a doggie door. Well 1 day I just didn't want to chase after him so I talked 'real sweet' to him and told him to bring it back and he actually brought it back and put it in the wastebasket! He did this a couple different times--not always! The wastebaskets have long since then been placed out of reach of both dogs so don't know if he would still do it. He also likes to wait patiently (at the other side of the garden fence) for me to throw him asparagus spears, green beans, or pea pods--He especially likes the asparagus-----and when I come in frm the garden w/my bag of vegs.--Is at the door and getting into the bag before I can even get the door shut! I almost think he would choose the asparagus over meat--have to check that out some time. Max is pretty lazy but does get excited when I come home and has to go get a soft toy to have in his mouth when I come in house. Actually he does this at other times when he gets excited or even upset. Of course Corky is too busy searching thru the grocery bags I set on the kitchen floor while I am bringing in the rest of the groceries frm the car!
most mischievious thing ever done: When I 1st got Corky, I was working--One day I came home and there was toilet paper all over pretty much the whole house(He couldn't get in the bedroom) Max likes to chew up tissues and get in the toilet if the lid is up--ugh!
cute habit Max likes to greet me (in the morning mainly---He sleeps on his Lands' End doggie bed in the living room--Corky likes the floor in the kitchen)although you wouldn't believe how many doggie beds I have---must be the Golden Retriever part. Anyhow (being long-winded as usual here) I don't allow them in my bedroom. When I go to bed I always say good night to each one (and love 'em up a little--pats and kisses!) In the morning they are both closer to my bedroom--dogs know what time it is! Anyway what I started to say--Max likes to greet me in the morning by wiggling his butt(you know-like wagging his tail if he had 1 to wag)--wiggling like crazy and goes between my legs and of course I am patting him as he goes through. I think I've already given enough on what Corky does. And the reason I mentioned the Lands' End 'word'-- I worked there for 23 years and retired in '06-Dec.
bad habit: Corky-spoiled and wants what he wants right now or he will scratch the door to get me to do his bidding and this isn't because he wants to go out--I close off doggie door in winter--too much cold coming in-vinyl flap not in best condition either. He does it for 1 thing--if I am a couple minutes late in feeding and other things too.
favorite food: both: raw chicken necks and wings--shrimp (don't get that much-more like a treat--too expensive) Corky: raw (all) asparagus, green beans, pea pods
least favorite food: Not much they won't eat-can't even think of any right now--they don't like 'mushy meals' I feed a raw food diet and they like it all! It gets all eaten up in mostly less than 5 mins sometimes!
favorite game: no real game--just like my attention--they are getting older and like to sleep more
favorite place to sleep: Guess I've already covered that!
anything else: I've said too much alreadylol

photo? I'm not good at putting these on but I do have about 4 in my profile if you want to check that out

I've already posted a lot in my posts here esp. under Because You Love Your Dog-- a long string of them (on mostly the way to feed, bad commercial dog food, vaccination reactions and even a couple that are 'for fun' in the'nondog topics area--can't remember what you call that section--but if you go into my profile and hit the spot after About me--I can't think anymore--you'll find it ---It will bring up all my posts--think it is Statistics you want to click on (I have a hard time w/that heading- to me it doesn't describe what it is very well so I tend to not remember it I guess!) Well, got to go feed my dogs or lol Corky is going to start scratching the door!

After feeding my dogs (and lol-Corky did start scratching the door to be fed) I read over what I had posted---realized people would get the wrong idea about the shrimp--I do not feed raw shrimp or any other fish (or pork) raw.
