Smile I'm a newb glad I came across this site!

Hello fellow dog lovers!

I'm a newb and just found this site!! I have 3 shih tzus (my little people). So glad to find a place to share stories.

I also found a great website to spoil my 3 fur babies. I never heard of giving deer antlers to your dog as a chew but someone had mentioned it, I ordered some and well, the rest is history! My dogs love them, they're good for their teeth and they don't chip up and cause stomach problems like rawhides or some of the other chews.

If you haven't tried them for your dog, I highly recommend them. I got mine and some other great things from the PetExpertise website.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi WELCOME

I dont think I heard of "antlers" I watch mine with the treats as they can gobble so I get the thin sticks of certain items they can break off small pieces. Nothing compares to satisfying them like the sticks but I am not a huge fan. Kongs only last as long as the stuffing..........

Default there's bully stiks too

Well mine love the antlers and I was thinking of trying the bully stiks also. The antlers keep them busy for a very long time and it's good for their teeth. Only problem is when one walks away, one of the other 2 go pick it up and they play switcharoo with the antlers. It's funny and as long as they're happy I'm REAL happy! LOL

All dogs are wonderful but I love to brag about me shih tzus

HI! Welcome!
I am impressed at how old some of your dogs are! What do you feed them? What else do you do, that they live so long? Course I know that the smaller the breed--the longer life span they have ---but still sounds impressive! Do they get very many vaccinations? Do you give them supplements--vitamins, etc? Lol, come on share your hints!

Actually we give them lots of love. They haven't had many vaccinations. We give them people food (only the good stuff) mixed with their regular dog food diet. Basically, they don't get treated any differently than our 2 sons LOL. No supplements either. I'm so blessed we've had them so long and they're all healthy with the exception of Sadie the 20 year old. She's deaf and blind in one eye but you'd never know it. She still runs around and plays with the other 2 so we're very blessed ))

Sadie is the same coloring as Zoe. she is cute, post pics of the other ones also, k? Do you think my Zoe's hair will be like that when she is older? she is 6 mo. now, she doesn't have fuzzy type hair, she has kinda straight hair and it has grown quite a bit since I got her. Does it get more thick? I know you can't really tell, cause she is also lhasa and maybe a little bit of silky also.
