Default Hi everyone

My name is Dolly, I have a diabetic pet, she is doing well, she will be 12 this year and has been a diabetic for 6+ yrs. now. Previously my pet who passed had Cushings disease he was 14.

What makes you think I am waiting, you must have overlooked my signature, she is on insulin and is being treated.

This forum is really helpful. I never knew dogs can have serious diabetes problems too. I wish your dog well.

Hi Dolly,

I can relate to the problem... diabetes runs rampant in my Dad's side of the family. I don't fully understand why it missed me! The "up" side is that it's so well understood today... my grandmother, born in 1892 and diagnosed with diabetes in 1941, lived to be 96!

There must be a very special greeting place at the Rainbow Bridge for people who take such wonderful care of their beloved pets!
