I have a major question and I need help!
Ok, I feed my dog Mystique regular balance dog food...Sometimes I add like alittle treat into her food, but is there any ok veggies i can put in her food? I know beans and tomatos are really bad for dogs, but what can I feed her for a veggie? Oh and what meat can I feed her, because I have looked on the internet and one website says this and one website say oh no thats bad...
So my main question here is:
What meat and veggies are ok for me to feed to my dog and how do I prepare the food???
Thank you very much!!!

What and How--veggies and meat
Only going to say a little here----Will leave it up to you to check out most of my posts under forum heading--Dog health and nutrition in this forum----too much to repeat here. Also click on the 'hilighted' web sites within a lot of my posts--esp. the ones mentioned under my posts that start out Because you love your dog---- example (click on this): BARF for Beginners - Most Frequently Asked Questions You need to grate (mini-processor) raw veggies to a very fine texture as dogs can not get the nutrients out of them otherwise. I feed mostly a raw food diet--but never give raw fish (esp. salmon) or raw pork or raw any part of the pig including bacon of course. Do you know the long list of things that are poisonous to your dog?! Never give raisins, grapes, avoocados, chocolate, bread dough, xylitol (sugar substitute) or any other sugar sub.---all I can think of at the moment as far as no-no's for food items. The ideal size for the veg.bits are as close to the size of a pin head---pretty hard to do unless you juice them---but keep trying with the mini-processor as best you can. Your dog may have to get use to taste of veggies---try mixing with some meat or a little canned salmon---a raw egg, or a little cottage cheese. Remember never feed anything that has artificial sugar in it--read labels! Like I said, I feed mostly a raw food diet----an ideal way to add the crushed veggies would be to mix it in with some raw hamburger--use fork and mash veggies in the meat---a good start would be carrots and broccoli. Don't feed much spinach or chard. Cauliflower would be good--and mine get crushed cooked tomatoes--just make sure no leaves or many seeds in this. One way to see if you got the carrots crushed fine enough, is to check the 'poo'--if you see pieces of orange carrot--that means your dog did not get the nutrients out of much of the carrots. Enough for now. Two dogs here ---cocker/golden retriever mix and the other is all cocker spaniel---10 and 11 yrs old.

In actuality, green beans are a non fattening excellent treat that many including myself give dogs. Mine get cooked carrots, pea's, potato but the primary ones to avoid is the acid type vegetables. Tomatoes etc. For fruit, they like apple slices and a few occasionally like a bite of pineapple.
