Hello from GA
Hi my name is Tim
I have a Pittbull and Labrador mix I adopted from the Humane Society named Derrick Brooks. His litter and their mother were abandoned when he was 2 days old and three months later he was the last one left so we picked him. he turned out to be a real handful to say the least.

Welcome!
Glad to hear Derrick found a home with you. How long have you had him? Have any pics. to share? My '2 boys' can be seen on my profile page in my album. They are getting up there in age. I've had them for 10 and 11 yrs so they have become like my children after all this time! Hope to 'see' you around and please update on your 'adventures' with your puppy!

Hi, again.
Just wanted to add---from the sounds of things--maybe you have another "Marley" (Marley and Me---good book, read it long before the movie was made--never saw that)---Lol, anyway, maybe you should keep a journal
(diary) and a bunch of pics and some day you might write a book on all the experiences you have with your dog!!

corky, that's a fantastic idea. I do scrapbooking so I scrap book for gizzy and timber. gizzy has quite the book going as I have had her 4 1/2 yrs now and timber is starting slowly but plenty of time.
gizzy's book is called "all about me" with her photo on the cover. I haven't come up with a good cover yet for timber's. I want to wait and see what comes natural but until then, I am collecting a few photos.

HI! :-D
Very handsome dog you have! Thanks for showing him. Just dawned on me---wonder what happened to his mother and rest of the litter---Do you know if they got good homes? Wonder if they have the same temperment as Derrick! What kind of mischief does Derrick get into?
Lol, Is he just trying to get your attention or just full of the devil?! Bet he must have quite a personality from what you said in your 1st post. But you probably love him a lot anyway and wouldn't think of giving him up. Can you tell I love dogs!

His mom and siblings were all adopted out long before him. unfortunatley his brother was returned to the humeane society because his family wanted a small dog.
Derrick can be a very rowdy but always knows when its time to settle down.
He is also very protective of me and my youngest sister who is eight and a half months old.

Hi,Tim. wow, nice looking dog!! My neighbor has similar look dog.I think neighbor's dog is Pitbull, but he is running around the fence back and forth back and forth and he looks really bundle of energy.
Palette;my dog (Pembroke welsh corgi), is 3 years old but still run around house crazy especially after bathing time or right after she wakes up,and got out from crate.
I think playing ball,Frisbee make my dog energy worn out:-P I like to try agility but not chance yet.I just have wea pole at house and play around with guide string attached. She likes going through and going through back voluntarily.
Welcome to the forum, and enjoy staying in the forum!
