I have been a dog owner all my life - I currently have two Shih Tzu and an Akita.
Well, let me clarify that, one Shih Tzu is definitely full bred and the other is not. I have Ben and Molly. Ben was given to me by a friend that was at the end of her rope with him - it was me or the shelter. Although he is registered he could not possibly be full bred. Molly on the other hand is an adorable Shih Tzu. She is small, mostly white with a little black on her. Molly is the alpha dog at my house.
Roscoe is the Akita. He is huge and needs to be trained - that is on my agenda!
I have decided that Shih Tzu is the breed for me - in fact, I started a Shih Tzu membership. Preparing the documents and meeting various dog experts and professionals has been a lot of fun and I have learned a lot. I am now considering becoming a breeder at some point in the future. Very exciting but it sounds like a tremendous amount of work.
Anyway, that's a little about me and my dogs. I hope to learn as well as contribute to this forum.

glad you joined. there are alot of helpful people here. The best part is we are all dog owners.

look around the site and enjoy it. there is a section on breeding if you want to take a gander through it. I am sure you can get loads of info from it.
