Unhappy My new pup has these little pimple like bumps on his tummy!

I am hoping someone can help us...We noticed these weird kind of out of nowhere pimple like sores on his tummy and a small one near his "peepee" and we are hoping it is not serious.... He is almost 3 months old... He was added to our family 2 weeks ago from "Animal and things" in NJ. He is adorable as all helk and we just want to keep him healthy and happy....

Has anyone seen these on any of their dog's/puppy's tummy before?? I am uploading some pics of our lil guys tum tum....

If you find out what they are, let me know. My 11 week old puppy has them too. Maybe it's a puppy thing?

Arrow Probably!!

This sounds like a flea allergy dermatitis! Will quote what it says in my home vet book: This is the most common allergy in dogs.
It is caused by a hypersensitivity reaction to one or more substances in the saliva of fleas. Flea allergy dermatitis is an allergic reaction of both the immediate and delayed type;
Itching begins immediately and tends to persist long after fleas have been eliminated. Symptoms are worse in midsummer during the flea season. However, dogs that live in the house may suffer all year long.
---Flea allergy dermatitis is characterized by severe itching
with inflamed skin and red pimplelike bumps (papules) found where fleas are heavily concentrated--over the rump and base of the tail, under the legs, on the groin and BELLY. Dogs chew and rub at these areas. Hair falls out and the skin becomes dry and scaly. In some cases the skin breaks down and develops raw areas that become crusted and infected. In time, the skin becomes thick and darkly pigmented.
---The diagnosis can be suspected by finding fleas on the dog and seeing the characteristic skin rash. Check for fleas by standing your dog over a sheet of white paper and brushing the coat. White and black grains of sandy material that drop onto the paper are flea eggs and feces. An allergic response to flea saliva can be demonstrated by an intradermal skin test.

Sorry to take so long with this reply---Got a phone call in the middle of printing it!!

Note: You can also buy a flea comb (has fine metal teeth) for a buck or two at a pet place --maybe even Walmart. This should 'tell' you if the dog has fleas also!

How would you like to stop all the problems with your pet? I have some good new but it will take some time on your part. Obedience training will bring out the best in your pet.
