You have no worries their. She is very shy and scared of everthing. She has only just plucked up the courage to bark when somone knock;s on the door LOL. She is very submissive indeed. But on the plus side it makes her very easy to train:mrgreen:

I was under the impression that pit bulls were a banned breed in England. Am I mistaken? I live in Ontario and some dim-witted politician looking for votes from those who know nothing about dogs managed to get the legislation passed here in 2005.

Yes you are right their but its pure breed Pits that are banned. You can have have cross breeds and if you do end up with a pit not knowing it it has to be newted.

StuC:
The rules are much more strict here. Any dog who even looks as if it may have some pit bull in it is banned. People who already had them were allowed to keep them but they have to be spayed/neutered, leashed and muzzled at all times. Any puppies that were born 90 days after the ban was enacted are seized and euthanized if they are found or reported. The "I didn't know" excuse doesn't work here. If you're out with your pit bull without a muzzle and someone reports you, the dog is seized, no questions asked. Those dogs are also euthanized and the owner is liable for a huge fine.
