Rescue Dane hello

Hi my name is Luci, mom to Louie a 7 year old Dalmation male and approx. 2 year great Dane male. We had Louie about 4 years now, he was a given to me from my son after we had to put our 5 year old Dane to sleep. Bacchus is our newest member of the family. He was abandoned and found wandering the streets somewhere around Baton Rouge. I volunteer at a shelter and that's where I saved him from. He was so skinny, and had not so good manners..like jumping and being toothy..BUT now he's learning. He does his business outside he's learning self control,eating properly and getting lots of love,attention and exsersize! I will post pics as soon as I figure it out!

I hope my picture of Bacchus our rescue Dane comes thru. Gosh he's such a good boy and he's made our Dalmation so happy. He's adjusting very well.In fact so well that he's allowed to stay in the house alone with Louie when I have to leave for a bit. Potty business is a wrap! He saw his "brother" going outside and he got it

. He's still trying to be friends with our cats and they still think he should be less in their kitty faces..No scratches yet!!!

It is so nice to hear about a rescue dog that does not seem to have any 'issues' because of his previous background! He sounds like a very smart dog! :mrgreen:
