Helloooo!
Hi my name is Danielle. I am owned by my lovely puppy Lupa, a Northern Inuit Dog, and Ami my very stubborn-pain-in-the-butt Husky.
Not sure how to post pictures, so this is just a test!
Lupa the Northern Inuit:
Ami (before she blew her coat):
The two of them:

Helloooo! Danielle!
Nice to meet you and your pups. And that was a good 'test'--Great pics---Handsome, healthy looking dogs! Like that name-Lupa. Never heard of a Northern Inuit Dog---Looks kind of like your other dog, Ami--the husky. Hope you like this place!

Welcome! Those are two gorgeous dogs!!! I've never heard of the Northern Inuit. Is it a wolf hybrid?

No, she's not a wolf hybrid. She's all dog. They are a newer breed mostly out of the UK (She's the third recorded pup to come to america). They were bred to look like wolves/northern breeds, but be easier to train.
Coming from husky experience, I would say that she's been a peice of cake...I have not had any problems training her, she picks up everything so fast and is always trying to please me. I'm totally sold on the breed. We are hoping to get another one next year.

I'm actually in Aurora. I don't make it to the city too often. I took my dog to the dog beach once in the spring, but he was only about 5 or 6 months so he still had to be on leash. I would like to take him back now because he is okay off leash and I know he would absolutely love it. I have an aunt who lives in the city and I'm long overdue for a visit, so maybe before the weather turns too cold. There aren't really any dog friendly places that I know of here in Aurora, unfortunately.

There's a nice dog park in naperville. not sure how far you are from there, but its a will county forest preserve dog park and everyone really friendly there. We are not terribly close to that one, but have visited it. I'm always up for doggy meet ups
and I can't seem to find my way around this forum, where do I post up pictures?
Thanks!

Separation Anxiety
Hi to everyone, this is my first time on this site. I would like to ask about the behaviour of my fiesty 2 year old Staffy. When she is with me she is soooo confident and happy and interested in everything and everybody. And quite dominant with other dogs in that she plays rough. But if I go out she becomes a timid little church mouse. She puts herself to bed and seems to cower if approached. She won't talk or mingle with anyone until I return and then she's full-on into it again. It's like she's 2 different dogs. I have had her since she was a puppy and she has always been treated like a princess. It's as if she only has confidence when she is with me. Cheers Jo

I'm only about 15 min. from Naperville! I never even thought to check there. Silly, too, cos pretty much everything is in Naperville. I'll have to look it up. Thanks!

you can get more information here: FPDWC.org - Activities (Dogs In The Preserves)
A lady told me that if you sign up for the next year in october, that you can use that pass for october to the end of the year (so kinda like getting 3 months for free)...not sure how true that is, but you can ask
