I just got an adorable little puppy, and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify his breed??

How old is he? Do you have more pics? Hard to tell from that pic and think he is pretty young to tell yet--They change a lot in looks as they grow! But would like to see some pics of him standing, as well as a side view and maybe a better one of his face.

I posted a couple more... I believe he is about 5 weeks old, He was dumped along with his 2 brothers, so we really dont know. he has the sweetest face I've ever seen!!

It doesn't really matter to me what kind of pup he is, I'm just curious. He has very tiny paws, and one of the pups had a spot of dark on his tongue... Don't know if that helps any..

I am thinking it has some (if not all) rottweiler. Basing it on the coloring --esp the brown above the eyes and also bottom part of legs and feet and also the black in itself. Could be some black lab--but the brown would have to be part of another breed like the rot.

Sounds pretty young to be gone from it's mother and siblings. You should look up about socializing and other problems that could arise from being separated so young (And, ya, I know it was not a choice for you but you should check into what to do to help avoid any future problems.) And to get a better understanding of your dog because of this.

Thank you... And yes, he is sooo young. I'm taking him to the vet in the a.m. and I hope all is well with him. My sister has had all three pups for 2 weeks. I have fostered 2 adult spaniels for several months, and I'm happy, and sad to say, that are are being adopted.. Now I can focus on getting this little guy healthy and happy!! Thanks for your help

Depends how big he gets...possibly rottweiler or doberman or lab???

Your puppy appears to have some rottie in her... as for the other breeds i would have to say hound or lab(looking at the ears) ....
either way, VERY CUTE
