Hi Proud momma to 2 Furbabie dogs and 2 Cats
mysticamom is on a distinguished road
Sorry I posted in the wrong area))))))))))))
Hi I just got a new Puppy about a month ago I already have a Pit Bull or as some would say an American Staffordshire Terrier, or Bully as some might say, but he is hardly that he loves my cats and will allow them to sleep in his crate with him.My Puppy is a Chow Chow/ Boarder Collie mix, and she is as smart as can be, in less than a week she has learned sit, down and stay.Bella is 3 months and 2 weeks old.
Now the reason I am here is this looks like a great group, but the other reason is we have to go out of town tomorrow, my son is going to stop in 2x tomorrow and a while on Sunday, since he is going to do laundry over here, Bella is used to us being here most of the time and when I have to go out for a bit I leave her in my Bedroom which although baby proofed (I will be doing more today), does this sound like enough to keep her from being bored or lonely and how do I let her know that we will be coming back? I don't want her depressed.

I don't think I'm quite sure what you are asking. Is it that you are going out of town and you are leaving your puppies by themselves for the weekend? I don't think that that is a good idea. 3 months old is very tiny. I'm not sure how old your other dog is but this, in my opinion is a terrible idea and borders on cruelty. Puppies need constant supervision. Your son coming by 2 times a day is not enough. Just my opinion.

I am going to see my Dad who has Dementia, so I can not take her with us, were only going overnight we will be back on Sunday, and my son should be here most of the day playing with her. I am going to see if his Girl Friend can come on Saturday to check on her also. I know she is young and if I could have taken her I would have, but I am trying to do the next best thing, I even asked a neighbor that I am friends with but she has family coming this weekend. No Lagie my older dog stays outside most of the day he LOVES to run around the yard.

They can't stay at your brother's house? Or your best friend's? Our best friend's dog comes here if he goes away, and our dogs go to his house if we go away.

I don't have a brother and I have no friends down here, my son is going to come and stay for a bit with her, but he lives in a trailer and no animals are allowed.

How long will you gone? Does Bella has a problem when you leave her before? Maybe you leave her with all her toys and tv is open then your son can feed or potty break her in scheduled time.
