Just thought I would stop by and say Hi, and introduce myself.

I currently have 2 dogs, but soon to be 3. I currently have 2 Saint Bernards, Josephine (3 years old) and Atlas (5, almost 6, mos old). But the other day I stopped in at a Co. Humane Society and fell deeply in love with a Basset Mix Puppy named Dagwood, he is coming home on Monday!

I love dogs, but I run a very small home based rabbit only rescue. We were actually at the Humane Society to pick up some babies when I saw Dagwood.

I actually joined to get advice on bring home Dagwood, as I have never had a super young puppy.

I hope to learn and grow, and hopefully make friends though my love of dogs and rescue dogs. (Oh if anyone can tell me how to ad pictures I will post some of my babies).

Hi DAJMOM Make sure before you bring the pup in the house you take all three of them for a walk a nice long one where they can all get to know each other then introduce them into the house and you shouldnt have any fighting or territorial problems.

Hi and welcome aboard, that was so exciting for you, congratulations! I met few bassets and they are really sweet and so gentle. Don't forget to take some pics when he arrive home!
