Hello, my name is LIndsay.. owner of Cappy.

Cappy is a really special pooch. He was saved from a puppy mill in Ohio and brought to the east cost by daws (daws.org). We got him at the age of 4 months old and he was always a pretty good dog.

Unfortunately, the people at the puppy mill didnt care about their dog's health, and cappy was lucky to have been saved before he was put down> The reason he would have been put down was because he was not "perfect"

Cappy was born without a foot! We call it his POWER NUBBY because it kinda looks like a peg leg.. or a nub.

Hes an ADORABLE pooch and every where we go, people stop to talk to us about him.. and this is the reason we started PowerNubby.com. I think that Cappy's good looks can really help him raise awareness and help other people with handicapped pets.

yep..the puppy mill was shut down, and because there are LOTS of puppy mills in the mid west, the collected a LOT of the puppies and brought them to the east coast - Connecticut specifically - and found them all homes.

theres still a lot of animals in shelters here, but its not nearly as bad as it is out there. We also have a lot more non kill shelters. DAWS.org is one of them. I love them, and for a shelter, it is a very happy place where the animals are VERY VERY well cared for.
