Hello and welcome!
The best welcome is a quiet and stress free one. I know you feel like celebrating but, you need to look at it from the dogs point of view. She has lost the person who was supposed to care for her always and is now in a new and unfamiliar place with people she has not yet learned to trust. The less "fuss", the better for Bianca.
You can make her welcome by trying to make the transition to her new home and new people as stress free as possible. Establish a routine with her and stick to it so she knows what to expect - regular walks, regular mealtimes, etc. Get her some toys that are appropriate for her size and strength and spend a lot of time with her both playing and just being "cozy." Try and avoid "showing her off" until she has had time to settle into her new surroundings and feels comfortable.
Expect that there may be a few "accidents." This is a new environment and she will be nervous and unsure of what is expected of her. If an "accident" occurs, clean the area with white vinegar. This removes all traces of the smell of urine so, she won't be drawn back to that spot over and over again. Don't scold her. Rather, when she's out and "does her business", give her loads of praise and treats. Positive reinforcement is the way to go here.
Be patient and give her time to adjust and to bond with you. It shouldn't take long before she feels like a member of your family. Good luck!!!
