My name is Kim, I'm 15, and I am owned my 11 fur babies. Named Belu, Shelby, Kylie, Zoe, Jagger, Kassia, Keegan, Cooper, Luka, Nicky, and Lacee. We may be adding another pup in the next few months, and should have a litter of 2 born in the next few hours!

Since I read your site I can't stop thinking about the AKKs. They seem like a fascinating breed. Can you tell me more about them? What are they like temperment wise? Are they good with children? Are they easy to train?

As for a little about the breed. Before I start, I want to let you know that it really depends on the way you train your AKK, that is what determine's what kind of dog they turn out to be! All of our AKK have something special about them, that no other has. They are all very loving, and love to cuddle with you whether you arent up for it or not! All are great with children, young and old, including myself...(I'm only 15)... they love to be around people, and are great when it comes to puppy school. All of our dogs have graduated top in there class! They are great crate, and potty trainers, it won't take long for an AKK to catch on to anything!

Thanks for filling me in. I know what you mean that it is how you train them. I've seen so many variences within the same breed. You really can't judge every dog by meeting with only one dog of that breed. They really are beautiful. I think if I were ever to own an AKK I couldn't settle for one...They look like they love each other's company *S*
