Question I'm a newbie w/ 3 Catahoula hound girlies!

I'm so happy to have found this site! I started out originally to find an answer to why one of my girls displays a certain behavior. They're all well-behaved and wonderful, but the youngest, Brandy, often comes into the house and drags herself across the floor with her front paws, head up and smiling, toward either me or my DH. It appears to be some sort of supplication posture and is so cute, but we wish we knew what she's thinking!!?

Just guessing, of course! But sounds like she is greeting you--saying hi--glad to see you again, missed you--and maybe wanting a loving pat or for you to pay attention to her and maybe wants to play!

Lol, sounds like a happy girl to me!!

Is it sort of like a commando crawl? My old dog who was a very submissive little dog would do it all the time. We called it "squashed rat" and he would do it on command!

Sounds like another wonderful deed of love by your dog. It's just so great to see and bless where with all naughty deeds.
