hello from Thailand!
Hi all!
I am new here. Hope to make new dog lover friends!
My dogs are a beagle and a lab, both are female.
The beagle sleeps with her tongue sticks out (is it usual or should i be worried?), the labrador.. I'm trying to make her get along with chickens and no luck at all. Anyhow, just introducing my dogs. I will post these concerns in more appropriate place!

Hello and welcome to the forum! Great to have you!
No don't worry about the beagle. How old is she? If she's young and loosing teeth or if she has some missing teetch her tounge may just be hanging out of the gap.
As far as the chickens go, where are they kept in compoarison to the dogs?

Hi
Thank you Todd
My beagle is three. It hangs out just a little, only visible if I lift the lip open. I will take a photo tonight when she sleeps.
The dogs and the chickens live quite close to each other. The chickens are bantams, so they can fly up on the tree. The beagle would usually ignore the chickens. The labrador however, bark at the chickens and jumping at the tree.
PS. I just put a post about this in Dog Behavior forum.

I see you made a separate thread for this issue. I will answer there. Thanks.

What are the names of your ladies, sounds like they are very sweet buddies. A friend's dog had the same little tongue out too when he's sleeping, it's been for long time with no problem relating to his mouth at all. On your lab, you should work on recall so she will listen to you when you call her.

Thank you. It is just something funny I call them. Everyone else call the beagle Sudsuay (means something like tremendously gorgeous in Thai) and the lab Sandy (by coincidence, it means a hundren thousand goodness in Thai).
