[FlashTheRottwuggle]

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum but not new to other dog forums. I had been petless from August 2008 until my son got me our current pup for Christmas (actually on 12/19). Her name is Flash (my son is a big Dukes of Hazzard fan and wanted to name her after the basset hound Flash on the show). She was born 10/14/09 and is 1/2 Rottweiler and 1/2 Puggle (which makes her 1/4 Pug and 1/4 Beagle). She is currently 5 months old and weighs about 28-30 lbs. My older brother dubbed her a Rottwuggle, thus the user name! Please see my album for pics.

That is a cute mix! Wonder if there are many of this combination!? Also wonder if she will gain much more weight---I like her the size she is now! I like the tail esp. that she wound up with--Makes her even cuter. Now if she had the beagle or rott. tail, She would almost look like a completely dif. dog! (to me anyway) Curious to see her when she is done growing. :mrgreen:

Thanks for the welcome! Yes I agree that a different tail (or nose) would make her a whole different dog. One morning in the sunrise she looked so much like a miniature Rottie if only her tail was docked (which I don't want but just saying). She does seem somewhat unique, although there were supposedly 9 in the litter (6 looked more Puggish and were fawn colored and her other 2 brothers looked like her but had humungous feet!)

I'm hoping she doesn't get much bigger. She is a nice size. I've had big dogs before and loved them but I would like her to be a little smaller. She'll be whatever she was meant to be though. Oh if we could only re-tune that beagle nose! It takes control of her brain as soon as we step outside! LOL
