Hello everyone! I am a new member to this site and and proud new owner of a Border Collie named Spike. I adopted him from a Pet Sanctuary out in Lubbock, Tx. He is my first bigger dog I have ever owned, my family back in Austin has 3 Chihuahuas and Spike and the girls back home have not met yet. I am looking foward to my life with Spike, he is the sweetest boy. If yall have any information or pointers for me, please feel free to email me!

Thanks for adopting! Hope the 3 chihuahuas will not be 'upset' with a new bigger dog on the scene. You may have some problems with them getting use to him. Someone else recently posted on this similar thing--You may want to read that thread. May look for it later--am about to go out and do some garden work so am pressed for time right now!

Hope you like the forum! Am curious as to why you want info or pointers emailed to you and not posted here under your post!!?? Others may want to have the same info and would see it if posted here.

Welcome to the site! and congrats on the new adoption and addition to your family Adoption is such a great choice and spike is lucky to have a new owner! My little dog came second to my lab, and they absolutely love eachother. So hopefully yours will all get along. Little dogs can be picky sometimes! Good luck!
