Hi,
I found you today and I decided to join you. My name is Jeannie. I live in the USA in the great state of Georgia, y'all.

I am currently living alone as my little dachshund girl Little Bit passed away last September 21. I have been on the list for a purebred dachshund puppy, but the night before last I decided to adopt a dog from Petfinder.com and I looked there and there were 11 pages of dogs available to me just in my area. I typed in my ZIP code and then as I said earlier in this post 11 pages of dogs appeared. I looked at some of these dogs and I found the very one for me! His name was Milo and it turns out the Milo has a sister and she was also there and I read about her and I decided to adopt Molly too, so I have e mailed SCAR (Southern Comfort Animal Rescue) and everything is all set. They are getting spayed/neutered on Wednesday and Scott is bringing Milo and Molly from the shelter to me next Thursday.

Glad to meet you! Milo and Molly--those two names fit good together! And nice that these two could stay together too. What kind/breeds are they and any idea about how old they are?

Hi Todd and Corky/Max,
Corky/Max, Milo and Molly are dachshund terrier mix puppies and they are almost a year old. They look about the size of a standard dachshund from their pictures.

Yes, it does make you sad to go on Petfinder, but I am glad that I found my two furry kids there.

Little Bit was cute just like her name! She was a shorthaired black and tan dachshund.
