hello from NJ
hi names mike. i had a 2 year old Siberian Husky fall in my lap. name is kayla. she is a sweet wonderful, smart dog. i have some things to learn, im getting there. here is her picture  have a good safe holiday

Not sure what you mean by --having some things to learn---so am quoting a few things from my breeds book: Because of their heavy coats, these dogs are unsuited to life in hot climates. (Keep her out of the heat no matter where you live--and please never cut the coat thinking it will help--It won't!!) They should not be excessively exercised in warm weather. Siberian Huskies need a fair amount of exercise, but don't overdo it in warm weather. They need a large yard with a high fence, but bury the wire at the base of the fence because they are likely to dig their way out and go off hunting. Lack of exercise will make these dogs restless; if not securely enclosed go off hunting by themselves!
Huskies are thrifty feeders and need less food than you might expect.

Hello all thanks for the warm welcome. yea she was a pretty happy dog or saw i thought. never had a dog like this before. this is why i say i have some things to learn.
anyway, she loves people. she just falls over and wants her belly rubbed when anyone is around.. great personality. here some more pics of my pup

She is sooo beautiful!!! Huskies are my favorite breed!! I have to wait til my hubby and i get a house before i can get one but i cant wait!!! Welcome to the forum u will love it here!
