Hello from Canada!
Hello, my name is Kaila. I have a wonderful fiance Kyle and our 7 week old puppy Clover (Story of how we got her so young is in another post). Clover is a husky/lab mix and is just so sweet with a little bit of trouble mixed in. Ha ha, we absolutely love her!
Just thought I would say hello!

Hope you like the forum. You can read a lot in here on huskies--pretty 'head strong' breed. You'll also have to see Reeskujo's posts on her new puppy--He is a little character. She can also give you a lot of info on this breed as she has a lot of experience with them. Lol, there are lab owners in here too but that breed is not as big a challenge as the husky!
I do not see anything in your posts about how you got Clover!? You said how you named him because you were lucky to have him but---? Lol, you have my curiosity up as to how you got him. I like the name by the way--more original by far than if you would have named him Lucky. (No offense Todd!!)

Ha ha, I guess it hasn't been posted yet. It needed an admin to review it. It would have shown up in Dog Behaviour. Thanks for the welcome! I have certainly found more information and more active members here then any other dog forum I have found. I can definitely see how she's behaving like a husky, I hope it's just the puppy phase but we'll love her no matter what.

First off, guess I should of been referring to Clover as a she. (My dogs have always been males-I say he because of habit!) Will be looking forward to seeing your held-up post! Lol, I doubt if it is just the puppy phase. If I remember right--You have to start training the husky at a young age and make sure they know You as the alpha or they will 'run all over you! (Not harshness of course on your part!) Here is a link that will tell you about the temperment of this breed: Hope you find this link informative.[/COLOR][/B] http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/siberianhusky.htm

Hello and welcome to the forum! I'm Canadian too. What part of the country are you from? I'm in Toronto, home of the recent G20 riots!!!

I'm from the Ottawa area. I was watching those riots on TV. Crazy stuff. How are you liking the weather so far?

Welcome Kaila and to your furbaby Clover. At what age when you get her? I'll be looking forward to see and read your other thread...
