Hi from Illinois
Hello. I'm a graphic designer from the suburbs of Chicago. I've always loved dogs but never had one while growing up. But I'm now a proud dog parent.  I'm owned by a 4-year-old (almost 5) maltese named Tiffany. I adopted her from the shelter almost 2 years ago. I love her to bits and can't imagine my life without her.
Anyway, hello everyone. I look forward to hearing about your pups!

How funny! I'm also from the suburbs of Chicago. Nice to meet someone around me. I have a yellow lab who is going to be 9 in october, Jamie, and a 3 year old mini dachshund/rat terrier mix, Moxie. I also couldn't imagine my life without them! So welcome to the site

Thanks for the welcome! Good to meet other people from the area. There are lots of fun places to go with your dogs around here (My favorite? The dog friendly patio at Quigley's in Naperville  ).

Thanks for the add! That's so funny about Naperville, I'm from right around there! I'll have to take my dogs to Quigleys sometime, I've sat outside at Front Street Cantina with them before.. but they are kind of monsters when food is around! haha

Welcome to the forum....sounds like Tiffany is a really cute dog. I have an 8 year old border collie/aussie mix, and I couldn't imagine not having dog either.

Welcome everyone! Lucysdoghouse, a great dane and a lab? wow! Those are some big dogs. how do you handle them both on walks etc..? My lab is a wild thing, I could only imagine controlling two that big! Hopefully they are well behaved unlike mine
