Hello from Lhasa Wrigley & Akita Kuma
Hello out there! I have a 5 year old male Lhasa boy and a 2 month old Akita girl. Which means it's time to refresh on my puppy skills. Going through the puppy years is going to be a challenge..THAT I remember! This forum seems to have a lot of friendly people & wisdom so I had to join. I may be a little slow on the forum (it's taken me 20 minutes just to write this intro! haha) but I look forward to meeting every one & their doggy kids.

Hello and welcome Lange! Your pups sound adorable. The site is great for advice and tips, I've had a lot of luck with it myself. So I hope you have a great experience here as well. I have a 9 year old yellow lab- Jamie, and a 3 year old mini dachshund- Moxie!

Hello! Thanks for telling us about your dogs. I love it when big dogs (although the Akita must be pretty small at 2 months) and little dogs are friends.

Thank you both for the welcome! Skivvies, I agree. It will be fun watching them as she grows. Kuma looks about 2/3rds the size of Wrigley right now. LOL I've never had 2 dogs at the same time so it's been interesting for me.
DoggieVogue, thanks for your doggy introductions That's a nice store you have. I'm going to have to buy Wrigley a Cubs jersey!!! I can't believe I never thought about it before!

Haha, I was wondering if Wrigley was a Cubs-related name. My friend's dog is named Addison, after the street that Wrigley Field is on.
My dog Tiffany has a Cubs shirt. She also has a blue plushie bat with the Cubs logo on it...when you squeeze it, it goes "Let's go Cubbies *bark bark barkbarkbark*"

Thank you lil Mutt & Nattie I'm so glad there are Akita owners on here. I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions as time passes. Nattie, your long coat Akita is gorgeous! I assume it's male? How old is he?
Skivvies a fellow Cubs fan?? Oh we're fast friends already! lol "Addison"..what a clever idea. I have relatives who live off Addison. I live in NW IN so we'll park there when we see a game. Well, you'll appreciate the name "Kuma" too, it means bear in japanese. Although my husband offered "Fukudome" when we were searching for Japanese names. LOL

Welcome to the forum...I can't imagine not having two dogs, though right now I have three. My border collie/aussie mix Max (8 yrs), my mini aussie Rusty (4 yrs), and finally my 7 month old min pin/chihuahua mix Trip.
Dogs are the best...good luck with your new little four legged herd!

Ahh...Kuma's a very appropriate name. Although it would be funny to hear someone call their dog Fukudome.
