Hi everyone, I just joined this site a little while ago, so I thought I would introduce myself! I'm Lydia Nichole (Lydia). I'm from the Memphis area and have 2 dogs (Ranger & Macy), 3 cats (Velvet, Isabella, Kojak), 8 aquariums. I used to work as a vet tech/ACO for quite a while and I'm now a full time Respiratory Care Practicioner student (on break until October due to heart surgery). I still do animal foster/rescue when I have time and I'm looking foward to learning my way around this site!

My Australian Shepherd pup, Ranger, is currently in training to become a therapy dog. I also have a newly adopted (8-28-10) special needs dog, Macy, that just began her beginner training.

I'm off now to post pictures of my pups!

Welcome to the group! I'm so excited I've found another person that is doing animal therapy work. My border collie/aussie mix Max is a certified animal therapy dog here in Utah. And well it is probably the most rewarding volunteer work I've ever been a part of. Max and I have been involved with the therapy group here since Jan. Aussie's are wonderful therapy partners!

Good luck with your therapy dog, I'd love to hear about your experiences...maybe we could swap stores.
