Talking New to the board!

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as I'm new to the boards. My name is Jenny and I have a 4 yr old Husky/chow mix (although over 75% Husky) named Phantom that I rescued a year ago. She came with the wonderful gift of horrific separation anxiety which we survived got over after a few months of work. Now, we've just moved to Morgantown, WV. So it's back to square one with the SA training. Fun... fun... fun...

Can't wait to meet people and share advice.

Hello and welcome Phantom is so adorable- I hope her SA issues get better. I'm sure once you settle in and get into a routine it should get better. There are a ton of good SA tips on these forums if you're looking for any help! Also, angiesample- Ella is sooo cute! Those eyes are so beautiful!

Talking Welcome to the forum!

Hi! Phantom is a pretty dog. Bet she is a lot of fun ! As DoggieVogue mentioned--There is a lot of info in this forum on separation anxiety. If you go to top of page--the blue strip across the page(s) and find word Search and click on it and put words: separation anxiety in the box--Will bring up many threads to click on on this subject.:-)

I have perused the SA tips on the board. However, we went through it once already and got over it. It's just with every new residence it starts all over again. So we know what to expect and what to do for the most part.

Thanks though!

Welcome to the group...you dog is so cute. I love the husky look, I'd own one here where I live, but our summers are really hot.

Good luck on working her past the SA again. I have a mini aussie that at times has issues if certain people leave the house without him.
