LOL Aren't all terriers little piranha incarnates? Part of their charm is to trick you with that adorable little mug.

Welcome to the forum!
Nice looking pup! There are a lot of people who have this breed. Guess they are usually a handful--noted for that--very energetic!
What it says in my breeds book: Temperament--Very happy, excitable dogs that love to hunt. In fact, they'll chase just about anything that moves. They make vigilant watchdogs, but are sometimes scrappy with other dogs. Smart and quick witted, they must be firmly trained from an early age, but settle well into family life and makes devoted pets.
And as far as health problems: This robust breed has few genetic problems, but may suffer from dislocating kneecaps and some hereditary eye problems.
And says this: BE AWARE: To avoid fights, always keep on the leash when other dogs are around.
Sorry, I got carried away, lol, reading you a book 'already!

Merry Christmas I'm Back!
I'm so glad to be back! Had me a unavoidable-leave-of-absense. My PC started to act-n up, and well I had a virus on it that was a bad one. It was a boot virus, had to completely reinstall the system. Then I started getting Blue Screens and instant shutdowns, So I got a hardware monitor program and find out that the BIOS Chipset is a overheating. Mother Board had no support from Manufacturer. So I get another Newer motherboard. and installed it and now everything is Okie-Dokie. But I had lost all my saved photos of my Murphy as a pup. I was happy to get back on here to find that the pictures were still here safe in my album. Thanks to all running this forum! Merry Christmas. Oh and Murphy thanks ya too!

What a cutie...I just love those floppy ears. Jack Russells are so much fun, full of energy but fun to have around. Welcome to the group and give your cute little one a big hug for me!

Thanks, but don't let Murphy's cute looks deceive you, He's as cunning as a fox, and always planning and conjuring up something that will leave you wondering if he is really a dog, or a being from another world sent here to test my patience!

Don't know how I missed you before. I am another Jack Russell owner - although mine is the rough coated variety - think he may be half dog half floor mop LOL!
Murphy is gorgeous. Jacks are simply the best.

For all their irritating traits, and tricks, JRT's can find away to get into your heart. If someone doesn't just love-um then they ain't ever had one!
