Hello everyone!

My name is Jeff from Pawbites.com (my own cool dog blog) and I'm so glad that I have arrived in this wonderful dog forum. I want to explore the forums not only to answer questions from those who were asking anything about dogs, but also I'm asking questions for the community to help as well. It's all about helping each other on getting answers from anything about dogs, and this forum can provide it for all dog lovers like me.

Hi! Yep, this is a good place--this forum! Hope you like it as much as I do.
I see in one of your other posts that you like Golden Retrievers but haven't had one yet. I love Goldens--although mine (Corky) was part cocker spaniel too. Can see him and my other dog, Max--a pure Cocker on my profile page in my album. Corky had to be put down this past June because of kidney failure/heart disease. He would have been 12 three days after being put down. I am missing him a lot. Being a mix--He had the looks of both breeds but his coat and 'expressions' were mostly Golden Retriever. Have you ever noticed that the Golden seems to be in more ads, etc. than other breeds. It tugs at my heart every time I see a video or ad of one. I hope some day you have a Golden. When my Max is gone I plan on another dog and would definitely get a Golden but at my age now I don't think I could handle a Golden so will prob. get a 'lap' dog, but if I saw another Corky, not sure I could resist!

Do you have any pics of your dogs to share? Can't remember right now if you said how old they are.

OMG! I'm sorry about your dog Corky. I'm not really sure if Sweet is 4 or 5 years old and both Sutay and Sitoy are 1 year younger than her. Maligno I think is not yet reached one year old.

Btw, my first ever dog when I was a kid was a black labrador retriever (it should be golden I expect) and was named Shadow. He died after he was ganged up by unknown men when he was roaming around the street. Anyway, I would be blessed if I have at least one golden retriever like you always dreamed of.

Thanks a lot lange. It's really special here in this dog forum, because I'm a real dog lover. My dogs really mean to me, and I will always love them till the end. Dogs are smart and more special than cats and other pets. That's what they're called a man's best friend.
