Default Im new and need some help identifying my dog!

we know that he is part husky, our vet told us he was definatley a northern breed....we have had him since he was about 5 weeks old...he was a very tiny puppy....he is also very very skiddish around people other than my husband and i and our parents...we have had him around people since we brought him home last year but its like he has never been socialized...he will go up to a woman after a few minutes but he will have absolutley nothing to do with a man....he is very good with children and he likes to herd things...he also catches squirrels and when he sees a rabbit he goes crazy...he also likes to chase the bumble bees in our yard ....he only weighs about 40 pounds and he is very very active....he is very afffectionate towrds my husband and i and he listens and learns very well....he is incredibly smart...my husband swears he is mixed with a coyote because of his stature and the way he behaves...he doesnt just walk he has a certain trot about him and he can ump abot 5 feet in the air while standing still....so if anyone can help i have attatched a couple of pics

First off, I'm nowhere near being a dog breed expert but the obvious; Siberian Husky stands out to me. Then german shepherd; and it might just be me, but possibly border collie in there. That's my guess.

How old is your dog? I ask because it might help give others an idea of whether he still has much more growing into his body to do.

There is a dog that looks just like that in our local shelter. He is part Husky and part Malamute.
