Default Woof! ... From my pack :)

Hello everyone! I'm new here so I thought I would introduce myself and my four amazing dogs

I have a 9 year old, German Shorthaired Pointer, named Randi.
a 5 year old, English Springer Spaniel, named Colter.
a 3 year old, German Shorthaired Pointer, named Addie.
and a 9 week old, Australian Shepherd/Lab. Retriever mix, named Pawner.

.... They are such great dogs and all of them adore each other!

What pretty puppies! I was wondering something. Is there a German Long Haired Pointer? Just wondering, because they have the short haired pointer and there must a be long haired one somewhere to make them want to distinguish the short haired one in the name. If there wasn't a short haired and a long haired, then you wouldn't need the short haired part of the name. You would only need to say German Pointer. So what does a German long haired pointer look like?
