Red face Tasmanian Devil?

I have a Black Lab and German Shepard mix, his name is O'Reilly but thinking maybe I should change it to Tasmanian. He is about 3 months old and sure is a lot for an old woman to handle. O'Reilly is a smart and loving pup but ohhh so full of everything, in other words he is VERY HYPER. I do like a challenge though! I do believe O'Reilly will be worth all effort I put in. Any advise will be welcoming. O'Reilly is an outside dog that I have to fight with everytime anyone goes in or out. He is very persistant and does not give up on his quest and ANYTHING is game when it comes to chewing up! It took me two days to find what was left of my potted lemon tree! I have 3 grandsons that run and play with him and I think its a tie on who gives out first. We live in out so we have plenty of room for him to run and play. I don't like keeping him tied up but sometimes I have too. We plan to make better arrangements later ( underground fence). I'm sure I will have great stories to share later. Don't forget to offer help, I do need any advise you may offer.

Wink

A lot of that is just pure puppy and he will just have to grow out of it. Have you started any obedience training with him yet? A little training goes along way. Puppies can be challenging at times but they are so worth the effort.
