Hi all! Well I am Muttley a 9 month old blue merle aussie, I am told pure bred. My adopted ma and pa think I might be a mix. They were told by my first adopted parents that," they were told I was a pure bred blue aussie" But Ma and Pa say my webbed feet and my size makes them wonder if I am part something else. I love my Ma, Pa and the kids. My first adopted family said I was too big and wiley for them and my doggie brothers and sisters. Ma brought her 3 kids to see me and Pa stayed home. I heard her say that Pa called and said If I had a dopey name not to get me...Ma fell in love with me she said oh my, your gonna be a big fella, she asked the masters what they called me? they said,"Patches" the old guy poked at me with a golf club and i bit at it... ma and the kids walked over and talked and they said that I was cute and full of energy, (8 weeks old) but, a dopey name. they laughed. Ma said she was not going to let me stay with the golf club weilding old man no matter what my name...They still question what I am but they know I am loveable, trainable and faithful. So they named me MUTTLEY loaded me up and took me home Pa said, "so what was his name?" Ma said "Patches" and laughed. Do I look like a pure bred aussie? 23 inches 70 pounds

There is no way to be absolutely sure based on pics but in fact purebred Aussies can reach over 23 inches and over 70lbs.

Ahh he's so cute...but yeah I don't think he's 100% aussie. I have two aussie mixes and they are great dogs. One is eight and is mixed with border collie and heeler I think. Sweet, sweet dog - doesn't herd anything and instead is a animal therapy dog. My other is a mini aussie and has all the traites of the aussie breed. Good luck with Mutley he looks super cute.
