Hi I am Katheryn and this is my pup Buck. I rescued him about a month ago. He is a very smart and loving dog. The rescue place said he might be st bernard/ shepard mix. I am not real sure so any comments would be great. Buck is a very sweet pup. He does not bark or whine. I have already tought him how to sit, fetch, and shake. Strangely with the cold weather we have had, he does not like his heat lamp. He will move his dog house away from it. The day after Christmas it snowed and he jumped and ran as the happiest dog in the world!! He is wonderful with my children. I think they wear him out more than the other way around. He is definitely very special to our family.

I am guessing some American Staffordshire Terrier or Pitbull--Maybe some St. Bernard (Lunareclipse can prob give you an answer on the St. Bernard part--She has 3 of them!) I don't see any German Shepherd Dog (If that was the type of Shepherd you were referring to!)

Lol, I'll bet that was something to see--Him enjoying the snow! So glad you rescued him! Sounds like he is fitting in to your family really well. I also just rescued my Sami about a month ago.
