Hi Ya'll,

I'm Aster and have been a dog lover all my life. I keep telling my wife that I'm "allergic" to cats, which is true. Just can't warm up to something that cares for me only when it wants/needs something. We have an adult son like that, why would I want a pet to match?

We just lost the dog of our dreams back in November (Beautiful male 14 yr old Liver/White Springer Spaniel. Best fellow we could have ever had wanted and were greatly blessed with.

It is an extremely difficult loss to both my wife & myself. We wanted to wait on a new dog, but just couldn't stand it around the home w/o someone else here to greet us. We went back to the breeder that had produced our beloved pooch from and found his Great Nephew (male Black/White Springer). Got him Dec 23rd to make our Christmas brighter.

He's a year old and a little sweetheart, but very skiddish in my views.

I will look forward to learning his ways & helping him/us to grow into a new family and to read on other things we can do here.
