Yes, I understand the UK does not recognize the breed. However, the United Kennel Club, the American Kennel club and serveral others do. The UK recognizes the Smooth Fox Terrier from what I understand. The love of a dog is not dependent on its ancestory to me. I love 'em all.

Sorry about that. Her name is Peanut and yes her vet has her on a supplement that cures several cooked-out nutrients. Although being unaware of this for several years I fed her the people food without the vitamins and she seemed to thrive. I know now that with the vitamins, although I can tell no difference, it is better for her health whether it is visiable or not.
