Default Hello from williamsburg va

I am the proud owner of a UKC registered Toy Fox Terrier. She has been people food fed from birth. She weighs 4.4 pounds and she is absolute bundled raw energy (we cook her food separate from ours) . Around our household she is what we call a high maintenance door bell and is friends with all.IMGP0025.jpg

What a pretty little girl. Here in the UK the toy size isn't recognised. But she is a beautiful dog.

Smile Welcome to the forum!

So what is her name? She looks like a bundle of energy! I feed raw and some home cooking. I use to feed it all cooked but didn't like the idea of most of the nutrients being heated out by the high heat. Do you supplement with vitamins, etc? Vitamin B is the main thing destroyed by heat. Not going to go into about it all here but if you care to check a few things out---for one , try dogs vitamin B in your browser or something like dogs cooked food vitamin B destroyed--You get the idea.

Yes, I understand the UK does not recognize the breed. However, the United Kennel Club, the American Kennel club and serveral others do. The UK recognizes the Smooth Fox Terrier from what I understand. The love of a dog is not dependent on its ancestory to me. I love 'em all.

Sorry about that. Her name is Peanut and yes her vet has her on a supplement that cures several cooked-out nutrients. Although being unaware of this for several years I fed her the people food without the vitamins and she seemed to thrive. I know now that with the vitamins, although I can tell no difference, it is better for her health whether it is visiable or not.

Me too! "My" breed, the Jack Russell, isn't recognised here in the UK either. I love all dogs but small terriers of any breed are best!
